Before you know it, you will be planning that open house and sifting through college information. For many reasons that first day of school is one that both parents and kids often dread...and we want to help.
The Great Start of Cheboygan, Otsego, and Presque Isle counties (COP) have collaborated with preschools and kindergarten teachers and classrooms to empower you the parent to be sure your little one is ready for that first big day! We are proud to introduce a pair of resources for you as a parent!

3. The Great Start Readiness Program
The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded
preschool program for four-year-old children with factors which may
place them at risk of educational failure. The program is administered
by the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Great Start.
